Not terrible, not great
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham RadfordLa Quinta, formerly the king of dog friendly hotels, has just disappointed to the extent that we won’t go there anymore. The room was find, though smaller than most. We could just fit Jaspers dog bed in. There was very little green space close, but enough. The killer was that the walls and floors were incredibly thin. The person next to us was talking on her cell until midnight in a normal voice, and it was so loud that she kept us up. Likewise, every step from the people in the room above was a thump. This is clearly a problem with the structure. The folks at the front desk were sympathetic when I told them the next morning, but didn’t offer any return on my $150. I miss the old La Quinta where dogs stayed free and service mattered.
Spacious and quiet
Sleep Inn & Suites Harrisonburg Near UniversityI was actually surprised at how great our stay was here. The room was clean and spacious. We had easy access to the outdoors (though we did need to go out the front door). Staff was kind and the location was great. Lots of green stuff for Jasper to wander in, and the bed was comfortable. We’ll stay here again!
Spacious room
Red Lion Hotel Yakima CenterThis was a great place to stay with our dog, Moxie. The room was spacious, and sliding doors opened out to a grassy courtyard. There was also dog-walking in a local park.
