Fun park, lots of shade and socializing!

Two separate areas for small and large dogs. Plenty of shade and seating, very clean and well maintained. Not as easy to find for a road tripper, but definitely worth it. There were a lot of well behaved dogs, only complaint is that there were more than a couple of intact males and I saw one owner drop off his intact dog and leave for 20 minutes without supervising his dog. Maybe he was a regular and others watched him, but it rubbed me the wrong way. Otherwise, great park.

Possible area for escape, not clean.

Two separate area for small and large dogs. We left immediately after realizing that the fence does not meet the ground and there were several areas for our small dog to have easily squeezed through. There were several piles of dog waste and many uneaten dog treats lying on the ground. Such a shame since this is a great location off the highway.

Lots of space, cool fence line.

Two separate, large, grassy areas for small and large dogs. The bottom of the fence line is cement which is awesome to prevent escape artists from finding or digging their way out. Lots of space to run and play fetch, but there is limited seating for the two legged kind. However, we were the only ones in the small dog area at the time, so seating wasn't a problem. There aren't any trees in the park either, so there is likely no shade on a sunny day - it was cloudy when we visited, so again a non-issue. It was not far from our hotel and a nice spot to stop at while we make our way up the coast.

Clean, grassy park!

Park is pretty isolated between fruit fields, but is next to a softball field and community center. The small dog and large dog entrances are on opposite sides. There is a lot of space for running and fetch and there are several enrichment sculptures (fire hydrants, log tunnel, rocks) throughout. There were a few benches, but I prefer picnic tables (which there were none). Several friendly dogs were at the park around sunset. This park was probably the most clean (we didn't see any dog waste anywhere) that we've seen on our cross country roadtrip. We're sad that we were just passing through and can't spend more time here.

Not much shade.

Dog park was at the far end of the park. There are two separate large and small dog areas, both with a lot of space. Sandy footing with little shade meant our pup didn't want to do much running and after his initial burst into the park he stayed with us under the covered structure. New trees line the perimeter of each area, but don't offer much shade and it seemed like there was a pile of dog waste at the bottom of each tree. There were no other dogs present when we visited.

Nice location, some shady spots.

Two separate areas for small and large dogs. Sandy footing, but wasn't too dusty. The small dog area has an apricot tree that was amazing to snack on while our pup roamed about. I wish there would have been more picnic tables, but there were numerous benches. Seemed clean, not much dog waste when we visited.

Stopped by while passing through Bakersfield.

This is a very large park that is open to all sizes of dogs. Our pup really enjoyed all the open space. There were two small kiddie pools with fresh hose water being pumped in that one dog at the park loved! We had to stop by two other dog parks that were tiny before we settled on this one, it was a great place for playtime before we hit the road again.

Soft, grassy area - perfect for a game of catch.

The two fenced in dog areas are toward the back of the park which is next to a municipal airport. Some loud noises startled our dog, but it was otherwise pretty quiet. There aren't many shady spots, but it was just what we were looking for as we traveled through.

Great location for travelers!

We stopped here on our way out of CO toward UT. It's a very convenient location. There was a lot of space and when we arrived we had the entire park to ourselves. There were some weird fluorescent green mud puddles, but otherwise this was a nice spot to relax while our pup stretched his legs.
