The birds are lovely and handsome, the gardens are peaceful, and the staff is kind and helpful. We visited with our dog and had a wonderful time. There are posts about the hilly conditions, but we did not have any trouble and should not be an issue for anyone in average physical condition.

The brewery and restaurant are great. Can sit on the outside decks or inside with your dog. The staff was friendly and the food tasty. We visited with our dog Shelby and had dinner on one of the decks. Extra points to the kitchen making our dog a chicken breast for dinner. The format is a little different than traditional. You order your drinks from the brewery on one bill and order your food through the restaurant on a separate bill. Was no issue for us.

The food, service, and atmosphere at Howard's was fantastic. Our server was fabulous, attentive, and gave great menu and drink recommendations. We visited with our dog Shelby and had dinner on the covered patio. There were several others with dogs as well and all appeared to be enjoying themselves and at ease. Bonus and extra kudos for the available dog menu items.
