On our Road Trip this year I used Bring Fido extensively. I purposely used several brands to find out who was not for me I learned immediately that Red Roof was too budget for me. I gave them 1 bone only for the price. Immediately when I got off on the 2nd floor I was hit in the face with Strong Indian food smell. We smelled stinky all night. Sheets were super thin. The air conditioner was either on super cold or off super hot. While it was clean the room just had a yucky feel especially with saggy beds. I’ll pass on Red Roof for future travels.

I’ve always heard Kimpton far exceeded the other with welcoming dogs, and it’s true. They accommodated our early check-in when we found we were ahead of schedule. But went over and above when she asked if she could have bowls, water, and bed available for Miss Chardonnay when we arrived. She was welcome in the public areas, but this was where the difference was. They have LOTS OF PUBLIC AREAS. I’m going to make Kimpton my go-to in the future. I would have given all 5 bones except for 2 things. They did not offer any solution for a pet relief station (not sure where they intended her to go???). And their pet fee was higher than average.

No unpleasant surprises at this hotel. Comfortable, clean. There is a dog run, no grass, just Astro turf. And they don’t provide waste bags. Could be why there are dog turds all over it. And they had been there for quite some time. All in all, pleased to stay.
