Check-in was simple, no issues. You get a first floor room having a dog. The side door out to the grassy area was close but the room key wouldn’t open and you had to go all the way around to the front. I told the front desk about it and they said they would have it fixed. Front desk staff was friendly and had dog treats on hand. The grassy area was nice and fenced with lots of room to sniff. The ends of the area are not gated so you need to have your dog on leash or be very careful; not a criticism just a thought.
There was also a table outside to sit and have breakfast with your puppy. I must say we were disappointed in the hot breakfast options. Eggs were not very good. I would stick with bagels, toast, and cereal. Didn’t try oatmeal bar so cannot comment.
Room was comfortable my shower wasn’t very hot and took a long time for water to heat up. My wife said her shower was hot so maybe just running low on hot water. They only give you one towel per person so if you need more towels you better ask before you shower and check to make sure the shampoo/conditioner is full ours was not conditioner didn’t work.
One last thing I have to mention in the lobby there is water and lemonade in plastic containers sitting on wood stands and the wood looked like there was back mold where the plastic containers sat, yuk. Honestly seemed clean and nice but for a Fairfield Inn and the room rate we expected a little better.
