It was a decent hotel but I have to say I won't be back. You get what you pay for. The mini fridge barely got cold, the bed mattresses were stiff as a piece of wood. The wall mounted TV must have had an issue so instead of taking it down professionally, they just took one set it in front of it. The bathroom shower was stained on the tub. The stand up light cover was all cracked and in pieces. The bedding was clean and neat on arrival. The smell in the room for whatever air freshener they use was terrible. The ac did work good n got very cold but it was very loud. The walls are extremely thin as well. No free breakfast. The pet fee also was supposed to be $25 and I get there says $50 gave me discount $39 but still not worth it because info was wrong. Now the positives: you're only 10 mins away from Grand Haven City Beach and lighthouse. Downtown also about 5 mins away. There's a good amount of food nearby and stores including Meijer, Dollar Tree, and Chowtown.
