We made the reservation a week in advance for 2 adults and 1 dog. We got there at 8pm the evening of our reservation. When asked how much our dog weighed, we told them 60 lbs. She said, I'm sorry we only take dogs 40 lbs or less. Nowhere did it say that when we made the reservation. We ended up having to stay at the other Wyndham on Jackson Blvd in West Rapid City, SD for $212 and it was the worst and scariest place that I have ever stayed in. This place was horrible. Very dirty. Half of the lights were out in the room and we had about a 25 watt bulb in the bathroom. We had plugged in lamps that didn't have bulbs. The outlet had electrical tape and broken face plate, the cable didn't work, the bed did not have a frame, it sat on the floor. No security locks or dead bolts on the door. The bed from the room next to us was against our wall with the bed and those people talked and laughed until 4am. Our labrador shook the whole night from fear and eventually threw up. The food was awful in the morning and the price we paid was $212 for a night. Ridiculous. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
