Essig Park

Dog Park at Essig Park

Beautiful dog park. Two separate sections: one just for little dogs and one for larger dogs. Both sections are fenced in. The park is nice and grassy (rare for out here in the desert) and they trees are growing in nicely to offer some shade. Plenty of room for large active dogs to run around. Busiest times are just before sunset when it’s nice and cool. A few picnic tables as well as poop bags and water are available. Right next to a nice playground for the kiddos if needed.

Great local park

Red Hill Dog Park

While visiting San Francisco we stayed just outside the city with our two pups. We brought them here to blow off some steam. All the local dogs and people were very friendly. They were building a small dog park inside the main park as well. Lots of water options, lots of shady spots, and lots of seating for owners. Wood chips may be tough on some pups but helped keep the place less dusty than other parks we’ve been to. Plenty of poop bags around the park in case you forget yours. Definitely a nice spot!

Great Breakfast Spot

Crepevine

Brought the two big dogs here. Staff was very welcoming and happy to see the pups. We had to walk into the restaurant to get to the small boxed in seating area. Staff was great as was the food. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.
