Great Little Dog Park

Eastham-Thomason Park

Good-sized dog park for Huntsville. It is not separated by large or small dogs, but there’s enough space for the amount of dogs when we stopped by. A local said it gets busy on Saturdays and week nights but Sunday around 5 pm there were only 7-8 dogs there.

Excellent Dog-Friendly Hotel!

Sonesta Simply Suites Dallas Las Colinas

This is a fantastic dog-friendly hotel. Nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff and clean, well kept grounds. Not a lot of large grassy areas but they’ve considerately placed waste/bag stations for use. They only have queen sized beds, though, and make sure to get a room far away from the front desk. We ended up right by it and could hear phones and people talking all night. Still, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice, Clean Dog Park

City of Irving Dog Park

Well kept dog park with both large and small areas. Nice landscaping, plenty of grass and shade and a large enough area for your dog to run at full gallop.

Excellent Dog-Friendly Restaurant

Italian Cafe

Spacious patio with plenty of outside tables and chairs under a large awning that wraps around the corner of the building. Strong wrought iron fence to leash your pooch. Nice area of town for a casual lunch with your dog and plenty of free, street parking around the block (you’ll probably need to walk a couple of blocks).

Easy To Work With, Pleasant Experience!

Schulenburg Inn & Suites

Making the reservation was easy and the rep on the phone was polite and helpful. The room was clean and while they didn’t have any special treatment for dogs, the rep seemed very seasoned in accommodating pet owners.

Large grass field behind the building that’s fairly safe (except for lots of ant hills) and well-lit. Plenty of places to take your dog out for nighttime or early morning potty breaks.

Excellent Neighborhood Dog Park

Dog Park at TC Jester Park

Very pleased with this neighborhood dog park. We lived in the area for about a year and this dog park provided a consistent, safe and fun environment for our dog to play with other dogs and become better socialized. Great group of dog owners at this park and - while it doesn’t have the size or amenities of some of the city’s larger dog parks - both large and small dog sides provided more than enough room for our runner to burn off her energy. Also located right off of major trails that run the length of the bayou so it’s great to be able to walk before or after playtime. Make sure to bring a towel and your old shoes if it’s been raining (gets muddy).
