We love Hillwinds. we’ve stayed before, & will continue to recommend. It’s 2 blocks from Main Street, so very easy to get around. The rooms are super clean. Although the motel is older, we LOVE the charm! We had neighbors on either side of us and never heard a thing. Allie from the front desk called us to make sure we got settled in & that we were happy with our accommodations. We would choose this place over any chain hotel. It is just lovely.

Food was excellent. Great covered patio, Perfect for a relaxing evening out with our pup. We’re camping at Tugaloo State Park, so a dog friendly spot is our only option for a meal out. Highly recommend!
