Home away from home
My Place Hotel - Amarillo West/ Medical Center TXNice pet friendly location. Seems very new. Rooms not yet stocked with typical extended stay amenities like cookware or dishes, but we had our own (RV stop over on a cross country trip). Convenient to Target, petsmart, many restaurants and the cinema. Plenty of space to walk the dogs and quiet too.
CLean and spacious room
Super 8 by Wyndham GraylingQuiet room on 2nd floor with large sitting area. Dogs had green space outside to play on but it’s quite close to the truck stop so we kept them on leash. Very easy access for the highway if you are just passing through.
Book early
Super 8 by Wyndham EscanabaOnly 6 pet friendly rooms. Ours was 146. ADA accessible. Quiet and right near back door for dogs who may need to get out with minimal pet or human interactions (DINOS). Nice dirt path out back is good for off leash play and walks. Breakfast was good and a fair number of choices (yogurt, waffles, hard boiled eggs, bagels, etc). It seemed full on Labor Day weekend but not noisy.
Surprisingly quiet!
Best Western Plus Albert Lea I-90/I-35 HotelRight off the I-90 but quiet and nice room. Dogs had a choice of 2 large grassy areas to exercise on. It was a short walk to the mall for dinner, lots of choices for food delivery too. We would stop here again.
Comfortable and convenient
North Platte Inn & SuitesWe stopped here with our 3 dogs. Check in was fast, room was clean and comfortable. Full size fridge and hot plate plus microwave (room 115) made it easier to eat leftovers but there are places for takeout nearby. It’s also a short walk to Dairy Queen. Area was quiet and we were very comfortable with walking around the area. Walmart also close by (walkable). Breakfast was adequate but not a large array of options if you have dietary needs (good biscuits and gravy but good luck if you’re trying to eat gluten free) for starting the day. We’d stay here again.
