Great Little Place.
Burger Bar & BistroJust went there again last night. They came right out and met us with a water bowl with ice water. I had the Country boy burger and Odin had the chicken with sweet potato fries (all nicely cut up and ready to be devoured) which he destroyed in seconds. The ice cream was a different story, my only complaint. The bowls are stainless steel with no grip on the bottom and you’re seated on a stone patio. So, eventually I had to grip the bowl between my legs just to keep the bowl from flying around all over the place as he tried to lick it all up. So not a huge complaint.
Unlike so many other restaurants that say they’re dog friendly when they’re really more “dog tolerant” this place actually is, with a full doggy menu and smiles and pettin’s to prove it.
Oh yeah human food and service is pretty good too.
Great Park!
Cranbury ParkOf the three dog parks in the immediate area that I’ve been to I’ve found this one is the best. It has a huge open for the dogs to run and play, lots of trails to hike and squirrels to chase. Unlike many other “dog parks” it’s really a dog friendly park, kind of like a big Winslow park, in Westport. So there’s no fence. The upside is the people who come here actually have to pay attention and have a good command of their dogs. This factor is the #1 reason I love this park and others like it. (Unfenced)
They also have a large frisbee golf course a large pavilion area (no dogs) and an open green (also no dogs)
