Hotel was ok
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Las CrucesI picked this hotel based on the reviews, The hotel sounded great, it is hard to find a pet friendly hotel with pet stations and a place for the dogs to run.... Well, when we arrived I checked us in and my husband was walking the dogs, the huge field he took them in was covered In thorns our poor dogs had 7-10 thorns in each paw. No grassy area for the dogs just dirt. We checked in, got to our room the door was hard to open even my husband could hardly open it. The room smelled like moisture and the carpets were wet. I guess they had shampooed the carpets before we arrived and never told us. The hotel did offer to switch rooms but we had been driving for 13 hours and it was almost 11pm and we just wanted to go to bed. For being a “pet friendly” hotel I don’t feel like it was very pet friendly. We probably won’t stay here again.
Great Stay
Staybridge Suites Montgomery - Downtown an IHG HotelWe stayed at this hotel while traveling from the East to West coast . Beautiful hotel, outdoor parking lot is small. parking is almost $18, not a lot of places to walk your dog unless you go outside of the hotel. But overall the hotel is very clean staff is friendly and they have grab and go breakfast. happy we decided to stay here.
Nice Hotel Not Great For Dogs
Hilton Garden Inn Nashville VanderbiltThe hotel was fantastic walking distance to restaurants and bars. However, the hotel does not have any spot for for your dog to run or go to the restroom. I have a golden doodle and a boxer and we were on the 8th floor. The area is a little busy so I made my husband walk with me each time especially at night since the hotel doesn’t have a designated pet area. The rooms are big which was nice for the dogs to play. Also be aware the hotel charges for parking and breakfast.
