Great 2nd choice
Red Roof Inn CameronAfter arriving at our first choice hotel and finding out they over booked we drove down the road and found this Red Roof. We had never stayed at one before. Lady at desk very nice, it as clean, she gave us a room on bottom floor. Thee grass was like carpet. Nice safe neighborhood.

Great Dog stop
Canyon View Dog Parkit is south of I -70 parallel to it
Nice pond to cool off. people and dogs real friendly

Review
La Quinta by Wyndham Clinton Historic Route 66Staff did not really explain dog area. It was late we were tired. The hotel was great , no fenced in area but nice large field to use.
