I am a first grade teacher. My baby, Brooklyn, is a GSD. She is a therapy dog and is titled in multiple CGC levels and tricks. She also competes in Rally and lure coursing. We are beginning to compete in obedience and agility as well.

Not dog friendly
I just tried to stop there with my therapy dog and was told that she was not allowed in even on the outside patio.
I’ve been there without my dog before and the food and view were great. But I learned today that it’s not dog friendly. They cited the health board even when I tried to explain that Outdoor places are okay.

Nice stay
It was a comfortable stay with lots of room for my GSD and myself. The potty area was nice and Brooklyn appreciated her goodies, although I had to ask for them.

Great location!!
My German Shepherd loves spending time at Down Home Dog Resort! The resort has so much to offer. The grounds are large and beautiful. There are several fenced play areas for use with a membership. The Egg Hunt will be so much fun. Better hurry! I was looking on the site and there are spaces filling already.
