Easy & Seamless
Best Western Plus Brandon InnThe hotel was great. Clean and quiet even though it is right off the highway. We had a room on the ground floor by the exit. It made our stay easy. The service road north of the hotel is good for walking as there is. 5 foot shoulder on both sides of the road. The hotel does not offer pet friendly accessible rooms which is what we originally booked. BringFido was on it and called us the day of the reservation to confirm the room change.

Great green space & service
Best Western Pembroke Inn & Conference CentreAfter we checked in, we noticed a dog in the room next to us who was activated by the presence of our dog in the hall. We went back to the front desk and were immediately assigned a few room further down the hall. Lots of green space around the hotel. A nice quiet place to walk just up the road too. It’s an old road that is closed and Mother Nature is well on her way to reclaiming the area. The food at the hotel was good. I enjoyed the taco salad. The to go lunch and breakfast were robust. They gave us poo bags and dog treats on check in. Would stay again for sure!

Easy Access To Outdoors
Travelodge by Wyndham KapuskasingYou can drive right up to the room like a motel. The room had 2 queen beds, microwave, fridge, keurig coffee maker and STRONG WiFi. Easy to take the dog out to relieve. Green space with picnic tables right behind the hotel. Reception was friendly and helpful. Bagged breakfast because of COVID included juice, muffin, fruit cup and water. Bathroom and linens were nice and clean.

Not ideal for walking Fido
TownePlace Suites by Marriott Thunder BayThe room (king with pullout) was well equipped but small. With the pullout open, there was no room to walk around the bed. The bed and the pullout were touching. The kitchen was just inside the door so it was difficult to work in the kitchen and have people/luggage coming and going at same time. This room would be better for one person and dog; not three people and dog.The area for pet relief is small and they provided waste bags. The hotel is in a retail area. It was not a nature walk with the dog; parking lots and industrial area. We found some more grass on the boulevards in the Superstore parking lot. The bag breakfast Because of COVID was robust with bagel, muffin, fruit, cream cheese, juice. The hotel was accommodating in giving us a room right by the exit door.
