Animals!
Bear Country USAI took my German Shepherd and she was greeted with so much love at the front gate. She enjoyed the ride and I loved all the Animals. Dogs are not allowed in the area of the zoo that you walk through, but I don’t think she was missing much. There is a huge grass area across the parking lot from the gift shop for pups to potty. I went into the gift shop and got her some Jackalope Jerky for being so good. I’m glad we stopped here.

Do It!
Under Canvas Mount RushmoreThis place was amazing! My German Shepherd Dog and I stopped here for a night and it was so much fun. The entire camp is dog friendly, including the indoor dining area. There are lots of hiking trails and activities on the property. It was very cold at night, but I was prepared for it. I can’t wait to stay at an Under Canvas again!
