Nice park, good amenities.

I went on a cold day so there was only one other dog there but there was plenty of room for them to run and play. The park is in a shared space with baseball fields and tennis courts, so I could see it being very busy at certain times of year. There are a couple of bus stop style benches for covered seating and other plenty of other benches around the park. They also had two baskets full of frisbees available for use and some agility course items. Plenty of dog bags, trash cans, water bowls (looks like these were left by other users, water bottle also left to be able to fill the bowls) and a drinking fountain, port-o-potty in the parking lot.

Dog Beach Hours Change

Due to erosion the stairs to the dog beach have been washed out, fortunately the main beach area is still accessible. The dog-friendly hours are 7-10am and 7-10pm. Dogs must be on a leash until the beach, but then are free to run, swim and play. My dog loves swimming and I love to bring him here, I’m so glad they were able to stay dog friendly!

Short Walk But Beautiful Park

We love coming here with our dog. The trail is about a 20/30 minute loop, there is a small hill but it is not very steep. The park also has a mountain bike trail, so just keep an eye out and stay aware.
