Not Welcome

My last trip to Maine I ate here basically every day after hiking but we didn’t have our dogs with us. This time we have our two very friendly %26 well behaved Bernese Mountain Dogs. I was a little concerned about the bees outside but we said we’d try it out. I went to put our names on the waitlist and let the woman know we’d like outside and have our two dogs. It was about 3p. It was an hour wait which we figured as much… what I didn’t expect was for her to tell me that they reached their dog quota so we couldn’t eat there. I figured alright take out we are adaptable and have beach chairs and a table in the car… nope no take out. I was told there was a vending machine for soda though. Will never eat here again even if I come back without my dogs.

Super Friendly

We read all the mixed reviews and we weren’t sure what to expect but I had eaten here on a prior trip without the dogs and loved the food. We have two Bernese Mountain Dogs and the sun decided to come out so they seated us up on the deck under an umbrella!! They provided a giant pitcher of water for the boys and let us know that they are very happy to step over them if they lay down in the way.

The food was everything I remember. I had the farmers breakfast and it was amazing. The biscuits are incredible. My fiancé had the lobster benedict and said it was one of the best he’s had!

I would highly recommend going. We got there around 11a and were seated right away but we were ready to wait if needed.

Solid Choice

We ate dinner here with our two Bernese Mountain Dogs. It was a rainy day and we were able to eat under the covering and not have to be outside. The servers were all super friendly and wanted to pet the dogs. They were also super understanding that our younger pup didn’t want to be under the table and instead laid next to me a little in the way. They offered us water for the dogs. The food was also good and the cocktails were amazing. We would definitely come again.
