The Catalina Inn in Tucson has a lot of deferred maintenance. I'd say stay at your own risk. We were there 3 days. The best thing about it is well lite for taking the dog out after dark. It's always frustrating to me when a dog friendly motel doesn't supply waste bags and a place to put them. Most responsible owners always have their own bag but apparently many do not. The people were kind and tried to respond to needs but we were there 3 nights and 2 days while we were away a worker was replastering our bathroom. We were never asked for permission for a worker to enter. Fortunately we moved our personal items out of the room each day when we knew we wouldn't be back until late.
