Awesome Park
The Dog Park at Wasserman ParkI'm from out of town (Illinois) and my 2 dogs have been stuck in the car for a full 24 hrs. They needed to get out and run. I came across this gem that was only 10 mins from where I was staying. They don't have a great dog park by where I live. I love the wood chips and seats randomly placed throughout the park, and balls....so many balls. My cattle dog was in heaven.

Nice Hike
Mackinaw River State Fish and Wildlife AreaThis is a nice place to hike with your pooch. It has 2 trails (from this entrance). The "long trail" is a wide grass trail (well maintained with the grass being short). I didn't walk the whole thing. Only walked for about 20 mins on it and turned around. There is a "short trail" but it is a dirt trail, very steep inclined and declines. I walked it for about 5 mins and came to a log blocking the path and a drop.

Decent Park
Shepard Dog ParkIt's a pretty good size park. It has an area for big dogs and little dogs. There is usually jugs filled with water and bowels so you can give your pooch some water. There are some shaded benches which is nice. There is usually always someone there with their dog so your dog has someone to play with.
