Hands down the best place I have stayed in the UP. Super clean, well kept, rooms are decorated nicely. Some rooms have just been renovated over the winter as well. There are seats outside each room to sit outside and relax. There is also a fire pit with chairs. The owner Ron is probably the nicest guy you will ever meet both on the phone and in person. This place is great for a single night or if you plan on traveling around it would be a great place to travel from daily and return to at night. I would absolutely stay here again. My only suggestion, if you have a cpap, maybe bring an extension cord or something to plug into, as our room didn’t have any plugs by the head of the bed. We totally made it work and this small detail did not take away from anything.

We finally made it to check this place out. It’s very dog friendly (we have 2 Rottweilers) and they enjoyed it as much as we did. We got there first thing in the morning and it was perfect because the groups on the raft were small and you could move all around the raft and see everything from all sides. The gift shop is cute but opens an hour after the park opens. I was able to get a few things I really liked! Will definitely make it here again.
