I’m retired and traveling with two black labs in a motor home.

Hidden gem
Van Alder Dog ParkThis dog park is a bit hidden which is great. We were the only ones there today for at least 20 minutes. Fresh water, doggie bags and very clean park. It was comfortable even at Noon due to all the shade trees. Plus it’s only 1/4 mile from the beach.
No problems
Oak Tree InnThey allowed my two labs to stay without any problems. We had to escape the hurricane and this was an excellent hotel. Lots of rain and high winds.
Beware of aggressive dogs
Northwest County Dog ParkThere is a large brown dog that is at the park from 8am to 10:30am. It attacked my dog and I’ve seen it attack other dogs. I just don’t stop when I see them there.
Very small dog park
Sheffield Dog ParkIt’s about half dirt and too many ants. I doubt we’ll be back unless they trim the grass and treat ant hills. It is fenced, two benches, dog poop bags and water.
World’s Smallest Dog Park
TA WildwoodThis is the world’s smallest dog park. I gave two stars because at least they have a dog park. Even though the bag dispenser was empty they at least had a trash can. Watch for ants.
Dog friendly RV Park
Gulf Oaks RV Park & Smuggler's Cove MarinaThis is a quiet, dog friendly RV park with water view and even a small fishing pier.
Awesome dog park
Al Helms Dog ParkThis is an awesome dog park with plenty of shade and room to run. It has three fenced in areas. One for small dogs is one for large dogs. Plus a small area with shelter as an introduction area for new dogs or shy dogs. Plus poop bags and trash cans all over. They even got a port-a-potty for the humans.
