Daree Dog Park
Nando's Dog Park at Darree Fields ParkI love this dog park and so does my boy Grayson, we go atleast 2 Days a week. Everyone we have encountered has been nice to me and to him (Pitty) everyone has been open minded and fall in love with him! It’s a small dog park with some muddy areas but dogs love mud, it also has a big irrigation pipe a small three tiered jump and an adjustable hoop jump. It’s big enough for your dog to run around. We love it here!

Beautiful
Dog Park at Walnut Woods Metro ParkGrayson and I enjoyed the Sweetgum trail (2.6 miles). This trail is very easy but decently long. If you start by going to the right of the trail you will find yourself mostly in shade for about 1/4 mile, the remaining is surrounded by trees but does not cover the trail with shade. I suggest going to the left first so you end your walk with coolness and shade. I defiantly recommend this trail, it is paved/pressed gravel. Also all the trails at this park are dog friendly ❤️

Not worth it
Blendon Woods Metro ParkDisappointing to travel all the way here to find out that you can only take your dog on one measley trail, I planned on hiking sugarbush and after pulling up the sign says no dogs, the only option is goldenrod trail. The website says nothing about animals being prohibited on any of the trail info page, in order to find out which one we could go on, I had to go back to the home page scroll to the bottom and click on “Pets” but it doesn’t appear to be a hyperlink, (but it is) I found it out of spite. This is a beautiful park but don’t bother going if you’re taking your dog😢. The goldenrod trail is simply to easy, no ups or downs, wet even when it should be dry, it’s basically open fields that they’ve mowed on the outskirts, no cover, my dog was overheating. This park has such great potential, but sadly falls very short for dog lovers
