Great Place To Stay
La Quinta by Wyndham TupeloWe stopped here for one night on a cross country trip. It is the nicest hotel for the price point that we’ve found so far. The hotel is newer construction, all rooms have interior entry, and travelers with pets are assigned to rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. There is a very nice grassy area available for the dogs, and it had waste stations with bags available. The rooms were very clean, updated, and have comfortable beds. It was a nice quiet place to stay and we would stay here again.
Basic But Comfortable
Quality Inn & Suitesstayed here for one night on a cross country trip. It’s easy access off of I-40, and close to several places to eat. There was a little mold in the corners of bathroom shower but otherwise the accommodations were clean. it’s basic but the bed was comfortable and there are fridges in the rooms, for a one night stay it was good.
It’s Ok, There Are Better Choices
Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Santa RosaI stayed here with my pup for one night. the room was clean, and reasonably comfortable. And there is a decent size patch of dirt and grass for the dogs, with a bag station for waste, though there were no bags in it. not a big deal as I bring my own. those are the positives.
The negatives: My door was difficult to open and close, it would stick. The room was dated and had seen better days. The front desk clerk seemed more annoyed than friendly. I will add the experience of my fellow traveler, he got a spectate room but it had a funky smell, so he went and complained and they offered him a different room but the door would not close properly. He ended up asking for a refund and went to the La Quinta next door.
all in all, this Days In. reminds me of the days when I was young and broke and more concerned about stretching my dollars than having a nice room to sleep in. Not the worst place but there are better choices if you don’t mind spending another $25 or so.
