Dog Friendly Outdoor Eating

We had just finished up some camping with our dog and was worried there were not going to be any dog friendly options. Login's has really neat high top picnic tables under a party tent in front of the restaurant. Ordered some drinks and food and the owner (assuming) remembered our pups name the whole time we were there and greeted her each time he came out. Ordered a steak poboy and boy was it so delicious. Will definetly be a regular summer stop for us!

Great for the Outdoor Dog

This is a great store that provides several options for leashes, harnesses and out door gear. Great selection of coats and treats. Lots of food and herbal supplements available as well. Awesome little find with products you dont see in other pet stores. Our pup loved being in there!

Best Doggie KOA!

If RVing be sure to rent one of their 3 back in sites with a special private doggy fenced in back yard. Beautiful sites set in the woods and spacious area with a very large fenced in back yard for the pup to play in off leash. Highly recommended!

Dog Friendly But Rough Terrain on Trail

A toll road takes you up to the top of the mountain. One car/driver and one passenger was $20. Once at the top, you drive around a small castle like structure then park in the parking areas. There is a staircase up to the summit but be aware parts of this stairway is traversing slippery rock faces so make sure you have good footwear. Your dog will have to make some good jumps up and down and be comfortable with rock faces. Bring water for both you and the dog. Once at the top there are beautiful views and telescopes so bring quarters. This place was very dog friendly and we met several other dogs making the hike to the top.

Best choice!

Found this place here on bringfido.com and figured we would try it out, ended up being a great choice. Traveling in the area with our 60lb black lab. Plenty of parking on a Thursday evening at 6pm. We were going to try somewhere right down in the heart of lake placid but it was a little too busy and overwhelming for our taste. So luckily this place is a little more removed from main st. and quiet. I waited with our dog at the entrance while my husband went in to get a table. I walked back around front to the patio to meet my husband and we sat down with our dog. Nice round table with an umbrella and the waitress came out with a mini dog bowl and vase of water. This was a legit dog bowl with their restraunt name on it. She was very friendly with her. We ordered some food and got a flight of beer. Everything was quick, very good, and we had no complaints. A few other dogs were dining with their owners and they got to sniff and meet each other. There is a nice grassy area right off the patio with some adirondack chairs for a nice place to sit and relax with the dog. Was a great experience to be able to bring our dog to dinner with us and feel welcomed. Will definetly come back if we are in the area!
