Loved Visiting Scalawags!
Scalawags Pet BoutiqueWe took our frenchie to Kennebunkport for vacation and Scalawags came highly recommended from a good friend of mine. Not only did our dog love the store and just about everything in it, but the people working at the store were great. They gave him all of the love and attention he could ask for! They not only had treats for their four-legged patrons, but also a toy box of thing to help occupy the pups while the humans shopped. If you're a dog and/or cat mom,/dad, Scalawags is a must when visiting Kennebunkport!

Awsome dog-Friendly Hotel
Port Inn & Suites Kennebunk Ascend Hotel CollectionThe Port Inn was great! It was our first time bringing our dog along for a hotel stay, and it was so nice to feel like he was truly welcomed and not just tolerated. Everyone was very nice, our room was lovely, the accommodations were great and our dog even got his very own welcome package when we arrived! We even took a few brochures to bring home with us so we could pass them on to our dog’s daycare - they’re happy to recommend dog-friendly hotels and vacation destinations to their clients! Thank you so much for such a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Great Dog-Friendly Shop!
Scalawags Pet BoutiqueScalawags was recommended to us by a friend and fellow dog mom. She said it was THE place we had to check out with our dog while in Kennebunkport, and she was right! It’s a great little shop with all kinds of great things for dogs and cats -cookies, treats, collars, toys, clothes, etc. The staff are wonderful and geninely love dogs. We brought our frenchie in twice during our vacation and both times he was greeted with a cookie, toys from their toy box to play with (while the humans shopped), and lots of love and attention. Needless to day he loved it there, and we’ll definitely be going back the next time we’re in Kennebunkport!
