Poor service

Was traveling alone and took one dog for lunch at Fat Cow because it had good ratings and was close to LSU where second dog was getting treatment. Cannot recommend. Only staff was one cook and one cashier. Left dog in car while I placed order for dog and me. Did not realize order didn't come with sides and was not offered any. Asked specifically for just mayonnaise on dog's burger. Was told I had to pick up my order when ready. This is problematic when alone with dog so I asked if they could bring order out to patio. Cashier just plunked it on table. My burger had no condiments and neither did the dog's; no napkins. The "lovely" patio cited in other reviews has seen better days. Has metal table and chairs which had begun to rust. Gave two bones because my burger was tasty, but would have been better with condiments and they did offer water to my dog; dog seemed to like her burger. Could not go back inside to get missing condiments or napkins because of dog. If they are going to be "dog friendly" they need to be a little more helpful. To be fair I should have "made" the cashier be more helpful, but I was tired, upset about my other dog, and if you have ever wrangled a dog at a restaurant you probably realize a little help would have been nice.
