Great location but no pet relief area

EVEN Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown an IHG Hotel

We brought our 60lb labradoodle to Even Hotel in Pittsburgh for two nights in August. The location is great and an easy walk to anywhere downtown or events at PNC Park. Parking is fairly convenient in the deck across the street. This hotel is housed in the 5th and 6th floors of the former Kaufmann's Department Store building. There is a ton on renovation happening down below to prepare for future retail space, which should be nice. So you need to take an elevator to the 5th floor to check in at the lobby. It's not the most convenient, but it's manageable. The rooms are clean, quiet, spacious, and offer in-room exercise/yoga equipment. The biggest drawback is there is no close pet-relief area at all. We walked 3 blocks to a mulched area near a parking lot or 4-blocks to a small park. The slightly larger park 3 blocks in the other direction was closed. If your dog can wait for elevators and hold their business until you get somewhere convenient, this hotel will work well for you.

Dog-friendly, People-friendly

Hampton Inn and Suites Parkersburg Downtown

Great location, friendly staff, super clean and spacious rooms. Even in the midst of a global pandemic, the staff here made our visit comfortable. Easy to walk our pup outside for a bathroom visit. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Great stop!

HiHO Brewing Company

Great patio! A server brought our pup a bowl of water before we even sat. There was a nice hook to attach our pup's leash so no one had to hold her. She loved watching all the people come and go. Food and beer were fantastic!
