Inexpensive beauty on the WA coast

Ocean Crest Resort

My wife and I stayed at Ocean Crest with our two dogs as a romantic getaway while our daughter was camping with our parents.

We live in Bellevue, and it was such an easy drive, only took about 2 and a half hours.

When we got there, it was very easy to find and the check in process was very smooth and the woman who checked us in was so friendly.  Since we are in the middle of a pandemic, there was plexiglass, and everyone was wearing masks and it felt very safe and clean.

My wife and I came in to our room, which was on the ground floor.  The room itself was a little out of date, but I thought it added to the charm.  There was a cute wood burning fire place (which we used both nights and got free fire logs from the front desk) and we had a wonderful little desk with a million dollar view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean.  Honestly, my wife and I and our two dogs just spent much of our time just drinking wine and looking out.

Like I said, the resort and room itself was a little out dated, but everything was still well maintained and super clean.  The wood burning fire place was so a cute touch and again is not something that you would probably get with an updated or new resort.

We can not believe that we got a resort looking out right on the ocean for less then 250 a night and we love the fact that it is family owned and always have been and not to mention pet friendly!

The mattress is worth pointing out, because it is so unbelievable comfortable.

The grounds of the resort are beautiful and a great place to walk our two dogs and there are cute little touches everywhere.

Overall, we had a great time and we can not wait to come back.  Hopefully we will not be in a pandemic.

One of our favorite parts was having an afternoon drink in their restaurant on the patio looking out on the ocean through the beautiful trees.
