Great food and serviceCosmopolitan Restaurant
My dog sat just fine under the canopy and was served a bowl of water. I usually don’t give 5/5 bones unless there is a doggy menu (there is not), but the food and experience and being able to experience an up-scale dinner with my pooch was super cool!
Up, up, and upJud Wiebe Memorial Trail
This is a great trail with magnificent views! Just make sure to bring lots of water and take breaks. I saw lots of active dogs on the trail.. my golden did fine- she’s 4 and only 50 lbs, I would not bring an older dog who has any trouble at all getting around.
Dog FriendlyPatagonia Telluride
I didn’t have my dog with me when I was in the store, but I heard a store worker invite another dog inside, so they seem to be dog friendly!
Super Dog FriendlyTelluride Gondola
The gondolas with paw prints on the side allow dogs, every other one.
Great Location! Free Breakfast.Hotel Columbia
We picked this hotel because we read an article that it was one of the pet-friendliest hotels in the US. On the website it mentioned when you checked in you would get jerky treats and a list of pet-friendly stores in the area and “pets are family”. When we checked in, the front desk staff didn’t know anything about this and just said “pet friendly to us just means pets can stay here”... I wrote the hotel website as I feel like I would have stayed somewhere else, but the manager who replied quickly explained the front desk staff made a mistake and he did have all of those things. I was only in town 3 nights, so I really wished I would have received the information from the beginning.. all in all it’s great location right by the gondolas and a river trail, the restaurant on site is 5/5 stars and was SUPER dog friendly, but I wasn’t feeling it from the hotel staff. I wouldn’t say they are overly dog friendly if the front desk worker didn’t even know what I was talking about, and I know I heard several other dogs on my floor barking so I do believe dogs stay here pretty frequently. The pet fee here is $30/night and the room we were in (21) is pretty small. It does come with free breakfast however that was great.
All in all, I would not come here thinking you’re going to get an amazing Fido experience, so I would let other factors affect your stay (location, free breakfast) and compare them with other pet friendly hotels in the area.
Amazing place to bring your pup!Creekside American Bistro
5 out of 5 bones! Highly recommend! I loved the venison stew and the nice waitress that told me how pretty I am and gave me lots of pets. Also cold filtered water!
