Pleasant stay
Inn on the Russian RiverWe brought our pup here for a couple days, didn’t know what to expect but it was a cute little inn. We were in room 12 which I believe was one of the better rooms with a view of the river and private seating area. There are some things not correctly listed on your description, they don’t have breakfast for guests anymore, our phones did not get service here, there was a guest with his dog and two cats and they prefer you dont potty your pups on the grass but there is an area below closer to the water. We did not meet any staff but they brought things if we needed them. The room had a kitchenette, king size bed & small couch, very small tv which we had a hard time getting to work properly. With tax and the pet fee we ended up paying more than $400 a night plus tip for the staff. 😳
Not fit for people or pets
Sequoia InnWe were going to see my sick mom & arrived at 9 pm after traveling 4 hrs, our small pup needed to potty but the sprinklers were on & grass was flooded. We got to our room to find stained carpets, worn platform on bed, old worn sheets & chewed corners of furniture & a hole in the chair. I started cleaning with my cleaning supplies & got towels & old blankets to use on floor. We thought about trying to find another hotel but it was late & we had our pet & when looking previously didn't see any other pet hotels available. The next morning at 5 am I went to take her potty again & the sprinklers were on again & grass too wet to walk on. Went back to the hotel to find it locked & room key would not open & nobody answering intercom so we waited outside a long while before someone came to the desk to let us in. I told them about the room & asked them to at least credit the $50 for the pet fee & she first said no & then said shed look into it but never gave us the credit. Obviously would never stay here again & felt it necessary to warn others.
