Nice Hotel

Fairfield Inn & Suites El Paso Airport

I make a regular trip from Ft Worth to Phoenix and El Paso is always my halfway stop. This is the fourth hotel I’ve tried in El Paso and I’m happy to say I think I’ve found a winner. The hotel is clean and updated, it’s pet friendly, and has nice grounds to walk them and has a designated pet relief area on site. There is also a Corner Bakery on the same lot for easy dinner.

Pup Approved

Aloft El Paso Downtown

This hotel is clean, comfy, and pet friendly. it’s located in downtown and is just a couple of blocks from a local park. the whole hotel is pet friendly so you can even take your pup to the bar. Two drawbacks:
- Parking is a hassle. It's valet only and loading area is crazy. They do not appear to enforce the fact that it’s a loading only zone. While valet is really the only choice, they do charge you $17 for it.
- No real pet relief area. While the nearby park is great, it is t great for those 2am potty emergencies.

Not Seating Patio Area

Peppers Grill & Bar

Would’ve loved to try it out but they were not seating on the patio when we attempted to go yesterday.

Good Pet Friendly Hotel

Desert Inn Tucumcari

Second time staying here - Traveling from Fort Worth, TX to Flagstaff, AZ with two dogs, I did lots of research on good places to travel with the dogs and this hotel seemed to hit all the must haves I was looking for and had attractive rates.

This hotel is older but it is clear the staff takes very good care of the facility. It's not 5-star hotel, but it is clean, quiet, and pet-friendly.

The building is landscaped with rock and there is only a very small square of astro-turf for pet bio breaks.

There are only two floors, but it should be noted there is no elevator. If you are carrying a suitcase and managing your leashed pet, the floors are somewhat challenging but not a deal breaker. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy.

Best Pet-Friendly Hotel in Flagstaff

La Quinta by Wyndham Flagstaff

Great hotel, clean, quiet, and totally pet friendly. Also they are the only hotel that doesn't charge a pet fee in the city. Highly recommended!

Great Pet Friendly Restaurant

Back Porch Draft House

We stopped at the Back Porch on a road trip from Fort Worth, TX to Flagstaff, AZ and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and pet-friendly. Before we got to the entrance, the hostess met us and got us seated outside on the patio. When bringing our drinks, our waitress also brought our dogs a bowl of water and gave them both scratches. The food was great, we all had standard sandwiches off the menu. Also, the manager on duty came over, greeted us, and let us know if there was anything we needed to let her know. Great restaurant, wonderful staff, awesome food!
