Great Park

We went to the South Rim and had a few hours to check things out. We parked in lot 2. Restrooms and visitor center (closed for covid) there. Its a nice quick 5 min walk to Mather Point. We continued northeast on the rim trail towards Yavapai Point. Walked as far as we liked, took pictures and enjoyed the view. Other guest had there dogs too! My pups enjoyed and passed out once back in the car.

Check the site for closures & more specifics about where your dog can and can’t go. Also the BARK Ranger passport that was mentioned on the site was not available. Bring water and there weren’t any trash cans where we went (mentioned above), so we had to hold the poop bags (not a big deal) just wanted to put it out there.
