The best dog beach!
Walton Rocks Dog BeachWe visit Walton Rocks often and love it! There’s a long stretch of beach just for the dogs and it’s maintained well. The water is beautiful, plenty of sand & space and it’s always a great time. There’s bathrooms and a hose to rinse your dog off. Bring mosquito spray as the bathroom area and the short walk over the dunes can be extra buggy during season. It’s such a great beach that I’ve even seen people come there without dogs.

Terrific short hike!
Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State ParkThis park offers a 1.9 mile loop hike that’s dog friendly. There are multiple tiny springs to see along the way and lots of water views. When there isn’t an eagle nesting, there’s an additional short trail (I think less than a mile) you can trek through. Great, mostly shaded hike to do with the dog!
