Horrible stay!

La Quinta by Wyndham Orlando Airport North

My wife and I ended up having to check out early. We were called to come back to the room after having left for the day because someone claimed our dog was causing a disturbance. The front desk staff did not bother checking if there was an actual disturbance before contacting us to come back and get our dog. We even tested to see if our dog was, in fact, causing any issues when we arrived back to the hotel. We walked past the room and our dog did not even bark. We stood in front of the door and our dog did not make a sound until she realized it was us and started to whine. The cleaning staff was across the hallway, cleaning another room and our dog did not even make a sound. We had no choice but to pack up our stuff, cancel our plans and leave. It was very unprofessionally handled for a hotel that claims to be dog friendly. We weren't even offered a refund for the one night we weren't able to stay. It was incredibly disappointing.

To top it off, our dog ended up with fleas from the room. (We had taken our dog to the vet before we left on our trip for a check up and she not have fleas). Clearly, the room had not be inspected nor deep cleaned to keep that from happening.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are travelling, particularly if you are planning to travel with your pet. There are better hotels closer to the various attractions such as Disney and Universal theme parks which offer better accommodations to pet owners and better service.
