Beautiful Trail
Wawona Meadow LoopEnjoyed this trail very much. It's about a 4 mile loop trail that is wide with very little elevation change. It is very scenic and if you're lucky, you'll see some wildlife.
Cute Little Hotel
Surf & Sand LodgeCute little place. A friendly gentleman at the counter provided a small pet package that included a towel, some treats, poop bags, and a sheet if your pup sleeps on the bed. Directly near walking trails and a beautiful beach area. However, please note that most of the beaches in Fort Bragg do not allow off-leash dogs. I believe it was county regulations and the fine was $275 if caught.
Excellent Overnight Stay
Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle East-RedmondThe room was as expected, very roomy and clean. We stayed in room 101 which is right next to the rear exit. It makes it very convenient to take out your pup when needed. They do charge $100 for the stay for your pet and an additional $14 for parking. They also serve a warm breakfast.
Pleasant Overnight Stay
Best Western Driftwood InnWe've stayed at this hotel in the past. The fee is $25 for your dog and the rooms are more than adequate. There's also a nice river walking path across the street and a few restaurants in the immediate area.
Pleasant Stay in Park City
Best Western Plus Landmark InnWe stayed in a pet-friendly King bed on a Sunday for $125 plus the pet fee I believe was $25. The room was clean and of good size. They had a good-sized pet area outside and served a warm breakfast and plenty of other items.
Pleasant Overnight Stay
La Quinta by Wyndham KanabWe stayed in a King Executive room for $130 on a Saturday. The pet-friendly room was clean and very roomy. The only negative thing I have to say is that there's really nowhere your dog can relieve themselves other than rock flowerbeds. You might be able to find a spot down the road. The hotel also offers a warm breakfast so all in all, a very decent stay.
Excellent Hotel
Element Seattle RedmondVisiting daughter who works for the Marriott chain so we obviously received a discount rate. Very spacious room with all the accommodations you need... plates, silverware, utensils, full fridge, etc. One of few places that don't charge a pet fee. The only downside is there are very few places you can take your pup to relieve themselves. Also, there's a lot of construction going on in the area. However, the hotel itself is great and the staff was very accommodating.
Excellent Hotel
The Westin Monache Resort MammothOne of the nicest hotels/rooms that we have stayed in and it was pet friendly. They do charge $50/day for your pet. You can save $30/day if you park your own car and not use valet parking. Employees are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and are pretty much stocked with everything you need.
Beautiful Dog Park
Marymoor ParkI am not a big fan of dog parks but I doubt there's anything like this park in the country...at least I haven't seen one. I believe it's about 40 acres so you never really notice when there are about a hundred dogs in the park. They're all having the time of their life. There are plenty of water holes for them to play in and plenty of grass to run around in. Just an excellent, excellent park.
