Lake Havasu State ParkThe person at the gate told us two locations where we could go in the water with our dog but the places she directed us (south and north ends of the park) we’re full of big boulder sized rocks that made it impossible to safely walk down the the water. Plus the location she told us to go to on the south end of the park was right at the opening to bridgewater channel. Lots of boats coming in and very windy.
The best park we visited!
Buckskin Mountain State ParkWe went to Buckskin, Cattail, and Havasu State Parks and Buckskin was the most dog friendly. It was only $6 for 2 humans and our dog to enter. There’s a basic dog park to play plus a narrow rocky beach to swim. We enjoyed the grass area between the dog park and the beach too. All of the trails are dog friendly and our pup had a blast exploring with us.
Great location!
Lions Dog ParkThe Lions Dog Park is located right in Bridgewater Channel near London Bridge. Our dog had a blast playing with other dogs. The surrounding area is very dog friendly too so we were able to walk around after the park.
