Great resort!
DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Paradise Valley - ScottsdaleThe resort and the grounds are GREAT. Everyone is super dog friendly and they can be more or less anywhere outside. Our room smelled when we walked in. Our screen door (sliding glass door with a screen that leads out to some lawn behind our room) was broken and the door itself was run down. (The additional lock bar was super loose and not tracking correctly.) The rug felt a lil' gross/dense, and everything was a bit run down. Full transparency: I almost asked housekeeping to replace the shower head since it looked crusted in calcium, but I didn't feel like making a big to-do. Considering how friendly and well-kept the resort itself was, I'm giving it 4 bones. If it was based on the room, it'd be 2. Worth booking, because I wonder if it was a fluke, but maybe say something if your room is in the same condition as ours was.

Legitimately Dog Friendly
Cool Beans Coffee RoastersSuper cute location in Marietta Square. Great coffee. (Had Via Ponch and vanilla latte.) They let you bring your dog in at least to order. There’s a fairly small indoor seating area that I assume dogs can’t hang out but there’s a huge outdoor area in the back with plenty of room for all. They even offered Tyrone a pup cup (a healthy dollop of whipped cream) even though we didn’t offer one. He loved it, and the zoomies that resulted from it. Thanks Cool Beans!
