Most restaurants have either good food or allow dogs. At Schooners you get a very relaxed atmosphere, very friendly staff, and excellent food. They are also consistently good for many years. We always eat here at least once when we are in the area. Highly recommended.

It's Pretty much as advertised. The view is O.k. but still nice, the location has a lot of outside tables with sun shades. The only issue is that the food is average as best (I had the seafood platter which looked like a frozen package fried up. Service was O.k. and the restrooms are acceptable. Walking distance from the Cavalier Resort across the street.

Just grab a seat outside with your pup and have one order pizza and drinks inside. Quality is really good, people are friendly and helpful.

We stayed for one night for stopover on our way to San Diego. The area is safe and good for a quick walk with the dogs, even at 3am. Hotel suitable for dog owners, friendly and helpful staff.

Our room was very spacious (thank you), but quite loud since facing the highway. Aging property, however, everything you need to rest for one night.

Perfect if you have an active dog like our Brittany. We could just walk to the dog park between the highway and the lake and let him run. Ideal for dogs who love water. Rooms are just fine. They placed us 1st floor at the section with the dog run.

Very dog. friendly staff, perfect rooms, view of the ocean from the bed. The dog beach is down the street. Very dog friendly community with some of the typical regulations (e.g. no dogs on the pier and no dogs on the beach at the pier). Very good overall location if you are short on time.
