Took our Chow Chow, Benny there in February. It was about 45. They let us sit out on the deck. We were happy since this appears to be the only pet friendly restaurant in Beech Mountain. My husband went and got our food. It was an excellent lunch. Loved the beans. Thanks for being there!

Panera is always good. the patio at the New Bern location is spacious and well decorated. Benny is waiting for his humans’ breakfast!

We had a really good lunch with our dog today. temps in the 40s but we were completely comfortable under their ceiling heater. we had the outdoor area to ourselves with the exception of a few smokers who came and went. if you can’t handle smoke, we don’t recommend the place. Our dog adored our waitress! Benny is a Chow Chow and he doesn’t take to everyone but he really liked her. Our cheese dip was yummy and I really liked their creole chicken pasta. A.J. McMurphy’s is a dog friendly restaurant and bar! We’ll definitely go back.
