perfect stop on 29 for obedient leashed pups
Prince Michel Vineyard and Winerygrounds to walk and dogs can even join you in certain areas inside the winery--some of it has food and gift displays so make sure your dog is up for it. They have pet clean-up supplies outside near the vines. Clean bathrooms for humans and staff is sincerely dog friendly. Easy parking and accessibility/yummy (but pricey) food, wonderful gift shop, and of course WONDERFUL place for a glass of wine (or even their own beer!) with or without your pooches.
Sunset Seating with Dogs/Off season GEM
Lazy Turtle Bar & GrillThey even have a dog menu. Human food is good. I have had consistently great service over 5 visits. My favorite is going on unseasonably warm winter/spring evenings. Call ahead to make sure they can serve you outdoors. I love it here.
Beer Hall Bow Wow
Red Oak Lager Haus & BiergartenLeashed dogs are also allowed in the beer hall, as well as the outdoor sculpture garden. It is so nice to be able to let them be inside with us on very hot or cold visits. A great stop if you are traveling through on 40, easy on/easy off exit.
Great stop for Dogs & People
Huske Hardware HouseHuge portions & super dog-friendly, socially distanced patio💗 Just stopped on for brunch. Really good place to take a break on a road trip. Cute downtown strip. Trains do come through town. Our dogs were fine but if your pooch doesn’t like big sounds. . .keep in mind. I loved watching the choo-choo on the patio✅
