The Country Home is a dog's paradise. Our dog loved running down the dirt roads, rolling in the green grass, and curling up with her family. Bailey's (and the four guests with her ) favorite sport was sitting on the porch watching sunrises and enjoying the wide panoramic view of the farm and surrounding meadows and hills. The house was charming and inviting. The kitchen was well-equipped. The living area is cozy and comfortable. The hosts' little touches of paintings, sayings on the wall, and the delivered fresh vegetables and flowers add to the homey atmosphere.

Restaurants, wineries, and attractions are dog friendly. Dogs are welcome at Finger Lakes Distillery and the Geneva and Watkins Glen state Parks. Check BringFido. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. A small room with a desk offered a quiet space. As an author, I loved this stop. And views from the cabin sparked a new idea for another book. We had an incredible experience. Our gracious hosts were helpful and friendly. We rate them very best! Our dog loved the open spaces and the Black Angus Cattle. Every morning, she paused near the fence and stared at the cattle. One cow stared back. Bailey had to stop each morning. This is one of the best of the many summer rentals were have reserved. Our dog would give it a five paw rating.
