So Fun with Our Pup!

I'm giving 4 bones because ~technically~ the door says service dogs only. However, we loved taking Kenzie to Trivia night on Wednesdays when we lived in town! The staff loved her and she's the kind of dog that will just sleep under the table, so it was a perfect fit for Kenz.

In Love with the Beer Garden

The patio area, which they call the Beer Garden, is so fun! Picnic tables, swings, and live music with a window for ordering drinks outside make it a wonderful place to spend an evening. The patio is very pup friendly! We haven't gotten to take Kenzie with us since we moved to town, but when I've gone before there have always been a couple of dogs ready to get some belly rubs.

Good Park in Wichita

As far as the park itself goes, I love this park. It's beautiful and well-maintained, and the RC aircraft field right next door makes this aviation nerd happy. Our only complaint is how few people appear to use the park. Kenzie is pretty antisocial and unless there are lots of dogs, she doesn't really end up playing much, so we prefer to go to busier parks. We love the little worn path around the fence and walk laps while we let Kenzie play!

A Good Dog Park in Wichita

The park itself isn't perfect, but it's one of the busier parks in town, making it one of our pup's favorites. There's always someone to play with!

Favorite Wichita Dog Park

Harrison Park is new and I think the planners did a fantastic job putting the park together. The park itself has a nice walking path, a small duck pond, tennis courts, a softball diamond, and what they call a rugby field. Dogs are allowed on a leash in these areas. The designated dog parks are our favorite in town. The side for "large" dogs is 25+ lbs, which feels funny when ours is 100+, but it works out! There are a few obstacle course-type items for the dogs, and a large hill they love to chase each other ip. There are even more toys in the small dog area. Poop bags are provided as well as a water fountain! Definitely gets muddy when it rains, but it's a gorgeous park!
