Saguaro driving and walking
Saguaro National ParkThere are 2 entrances to Saguaro National Forest. One on the West side of the park and one one the East (Rincon and Visitor Center). I only went in the East entrance this trip. There is a dog trail-The Mica Trail which is dirt and fairly wide. I saw a person in a wheelchair and also a stroller on it. It is .7 miles out and back. There were doggie bags at the start. The park ranger at the entrance said that dogs can be walked on any roads as long as they are leashed and you pick up after them. Beautiful park. From the comments above, it prob would be best to use the East Entrance. The loop road is dirt and had some potholes. I was told the younger saguaro cacti are accessed from the west entrance.
