Pretty, but beware poisonous plants
Key West Tropical Forest and Botanical GardenLots of trails to explore, and plants to see, but beware that there’s lots of well signed poisonous trees everywhere. If it’s wet, they’ll walk through the sap and leaves, which will stick to their paws. (and they’ll lick their paws later)
Always dog friendly
Hindu ChartersThese guys are great, and super dog friendly. They even run a dog cruise in the cooler months when it’s not too hot for the dogs paws on deck.
We’ve done a brunch cruise and a brunch and swim day. Both were excellent.
Great outdoor patio
Red Rabbit MinneapolisFood is delicious, but portions are huge, so you will probably need a doggy bag.
Servers were all super friendly to the dog.
Super chill
Blarney Pub & GrillWalked up and there was a sign saying only the basement was open. (Some kind of work going on upstairs) We walked down to see if Teddy was welcome inside, and they told us to come on in.
Delicious and Dog Friendly
La Hacienda Scenic LoopWent right after a thunderstorm. They dried off an outside table, and I sat Teddy in a chair away from the table. Food was delicious. and the owner came around greeting all the tables. We’d definitely go back.
Bed and bowls
Hotel HavanaWhen we arrived we found a huge bed, two bowls and a couple poo bags in our room. There’s grass right out front behind gates, and the restaurant on site is also dog friendly. It’s a bit of a hike to anywhere downtown, but it’s right on the river, so at least it’s a nice walk.
Covered outdoor table in the rain
Original Mexican RestaurantWe were out for dinner in the middle of a storm, and we’re worried that with only outdoor tables, we wouldn’t find a dry place to eat, but they seated us at a covered patio table. asked if Teddy wanted water, and since the ground was wet, I sat him on a chair pushed back from the table, and they were good with it.
Plates are enormous, drinks are good.
Island Oasis
Toucan Jim'sa sea of tables, named after islands, spaced out between trees.
Finger foods, and a bowl for the dog.
