In Yuma for 5 days and this park is fantastic! nice sidewalks, large grassy areas, some sand, shade, benches, water (was off the first day I was there). Friendly folks and dogs in the morning.

Stopped here on our way south along Rte. 5. Large area for my pup to romp. We stopped in the middle of the day, so no other dogs to play with, but plenty of room to stretch our legs. Water and shelter available.

Stopped here on our way south and found it to be a great park! nice grass - not as muddy as parks around Beaverton, OR, where we were coming from. TWO BIG areas for large dogs...water, doggie bags, shelter, chairs etc. We were there mid-day so not many other dogs there, but great place to run around for a bit.

Worked well for my 9 month old's first motel stay! No poop bags in the container in the parking lot, few amenities in the room, but ok. Had a king bed, w/sitting room area (just me and my pup). She was fascinated by the traffic sounds and RV park below our balcony. Wonder why hotels/motels that accept dogs don't have at least a hose and a place to rinse off the sand?
