Wonderful Fido Find!

Fat Katz is right next to I-75. Roomy covered patio is serviced by a great waitstaff. Broad beer selection to choose from. The food was stellar! The house-made pastrami on my sandwich was simply the best, as was the salad dressing on my wife's salad. Even the side of black beans was exceptionally tasty. Will absolutely stop again!

Dog friendly BBQ

Shane's Rib Shack

This is a good BBQ place, especially for folks with smaller dogs. It's part of a shopping center. Patio has a handful of tables, but only shade is a rather small awning; ok for us but only at the time. Lady at the register said we could bring our dogs inside if they would stay under our table (one of our dogs too big for that). The pork sandwiches and sides were excellent!

Ruckus & Redemption

This is a truly excellent place for burgers, craft beers, and cocktails. Well worth the effort to find it, as it's not well marked. It's located behind "Phil's Music Exchange". Nice covered patio with ceiling fans and music. Try the 3Bs burger or the Brantley; you won't be disappointed! Creative cocktails to boot. Check out the remarkable contraptions in nearby Whirligig Park.

New Address!

URBAN Brew and BBQ

Urban Brew and BBQ is now at 2601 Central! Cool converted gas station has great vibes and big super shady outdoor patio for eating with pups. Cold water station for filling glasses and dog bowls. The BBQ is excellent and the sides were very special. Top notch craft beer selection. Highly recommend.

Great homestye food

Cowboy Chicken

Marvelous fresh sides nestle up to tender and tasty roast chicken. Creative teas and lemonades wash it down right. Three outside tables are shaded by an overhanging roof. Fine in fair weather, but maybe not in rain. Nothing particularly here for the doggies, but a delish meal for doggie parents.

Good option for traveling dogs

Best Western Milton Inn

Our room was fresh and clean. Plenty of green areas for relief. Hot breakfast buffet pretty solid, though other local food options a bit limited. Just the ticket for a one-night stay on the road.
