Excellent all around
Bluewater Grill Seafood Restaurant & Fish MarketPups are not just allowed, they are welcomed with open arms!! At check in, our baby was given a milkbone in a cute package with their doggie rules, and a big bowl of fresh water. Then she made her selection off the doggie menu - which got two paws WAY up. The human food was also to die for!
Not So Friendly
Comfort Inn & Suites Lancaster Antelope ValleyDogs are allowed, but they certainly aren’t welcome. Despite specifically noting our dog on our reservation and walking in with her clearly in sight, we were later accused of trying to hide her. The staff acted as if our pet was an inconvenience to them, despite their pet policy being the only reason we’d paid to stay in their hotel. After this less than warm welcome, we did not have any further issues with our pet or the room/hotel. While it wasn’t a problem for us, we did notice that the access dog closest to the dog relief area is locked overnight (can be used as an exit but not an entrance, even with room key), so pet parents will want to plan accordingly!
Good Vibes, Killer Coffee
Dose in the Box By Coffee DoseThis place serves the best coffee in the sassiest cups. The new location is tucked in right across from our office, so our office dog is a regular. They are super dog-friendly, with water bowls refreshed regularly, doggie seating, and treats offered to pups. Pro tip: ask for an order of Puppy Crack and thank us later!
Good eats, better people
LuluBelle's Coffee House and BakeryWe ended up at LuluBelle’s twice during our weekend visit to Arrowhead because the staff was so friendly and the food/drinks were so good! The menu is fully customizable and features vegan-friendly options. Pups are allowed on the patio and well-behaved pups can even join you inside. Staff members happily presented our dog with a treat at the counter and brought out a fresh bowl of water for her upon request. On our second visit we learned that LuluBelle’s is named for the owner’s pup!
Great food, great service, dogs allowed
Plenty on BellPlenty on Bell is a great local spot. The menu has enough variety for the whole group and it all tastes great. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to dogs. There will bring a water bowl for your pup and make sure you have plenty of shade. They even have a “dogs allowed” sticker on the front door and an Instagram hashtag #dogsofplenty for four-legged visitors.
