Andy was incredibly friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Washington, DC. He was thoughtful and flexible, making stops as needed so our dog could stretch his legs. We made several stops to take photos and walk through outdoor landmarks like the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials. Throughout the ride, Andy shared fascinating historical insights in a fun, engaging way—like being students on an episode of The Magic School Bus. Overall, it was an awesome experience and a fantastic way to see the city.

The staff was super friendly and very welcoming to our dog. They brought out a dog water bowl and even told us about the two “dog menu” items (grilled chicken or a hamburger patty). The outdoor seating is large and there are two different sections, depending on time of year. One area is in the front along the bar when the windows are open and the other area is a big patio in the back. Both areas have shaded/covered options. The food was excellent! This is not your typical “bar” food - it’s really good. The drink selection was great, especially the local and micro beer list. They also have happy hour and offer live entertainment on select nights (even outside!). We had a great time and plan to come back regularly. Highly recommend!

They have a little outdoor seating area that I brought the dog to. I brought our own water but there’s a soda fountain inside that I’m sure they would allow you to fill up a bottle of water.
